HabStick is a habit tracking application developed by Rishad. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how HabStick handles data and information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

HabStick is designed to work primarily offline and does not require user registration.

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.

However, the app may collect limited anonymous data through third-party services to improve app performance and stability.

2. Local Data Storage

All habit data, progress logs, streaks, and schedules created in HabStick are stored locally on your device.

We do not upload, store, or process your habit data on external servers.

You retain full ownership and control over your data.

3. Encrypted Backup Feature

HabStick offers an optional local encrypted backup feature.

Backups:

  • Are stored locally on your device or in a location you choose
  • Are encrypted using AES-256 encryption
  • Are not accessible by the developer
  • Do not require account registration

If you lose your backup file, your data cannot be recovered.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

HabStick uses third-party services such as:

  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics

These services may collect anonymous information such as:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App usage statistics
  • Crash logs and diagnostics

This data is used only to:

  • Improve app performance
  • Fix bugs
  • Understand feature usage

This data does not include your habit content and is not used to identify you.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

HabStick offers optional premium features through in-app purchases, including subscriptions and lifetime purchases.

Payments are processed securely through:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

HabStick does not collect or store your payment information.

We may receive purchase status information (such as whether a subscription is active) to unlock premium features.

HabStick uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchase status. RevenueCat may process anonymous purchase data for subscription management purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent user data.

We only share limited anonymous data with third-party services used for:

  • Analytics
  • Crash reporting
  • Subscription management

These services include:

  • Google Firebase
  • RevenueCat

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all habit data is stored locally on your device:

  • Uninstalling the app will delete all app data unless you created a backup.
  • Backup files are stored only where you choose to save them.

We do not store user data on our servers.

8. Children’s Privacy

HabStick is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.

Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
